It’s surprisingly easy to leave a bequest. In fact, it’s the most common type of legacy gift, requiring just a small added paragraph to your will. What will your legacy be?

You can designate your legacy gift to support a specific ministry initiative within Horizons, or to where most needed. Your bequest, whether large or small, will help transform generations through the gospel.

Including a bequest to Horizons in your will would make your final gift one of lasting influence on God’s Kingdom, enabling the message of the gospel to reach millions of Muslim families.

How to leave a bequest to Horizons?

When planning your legacy, a valid will can help you secure the future for your family and the causes you believe in. Through a charitable bequest, you can dedicate a portion of your assets to Horizons International.

You can do this in three main ways:

• A percentage of your estate (residuary bequest) - the most beneficial, as your gift maintains its proportional value over time

• A fixed dollar amount - to ensure that the amount given matches your intention

• A specific item or asset - can include properties, vehicles, stocks, bonds, cryptocurrencies, or other assets

By making a 3% residuary bequest, for example, you could impact generations to come. You can make a bequest by including a simple statement when writing your will, or by adding a supplemental paragraph (a codicil) to your existing will.
