David & Randa John

David and his wife Randa lead the International Student Ministry at their church in Akron, Ohio. David and Randa married in 1992 and have lived in the Akron, Ohio area since 1993. They have three children and a grandson. 

David was born in Pakistan, into a family with Muslims and Hindus. He grew up in the Middle East and came to faith in Christ at the age of 18. David speaks five languages and is well-versed in Islamic history, culture and politics. Randa is a Palestinian believer, born and raised in the Middle East. She moved to the U.S. in 1985 as an international student and pursued education at Kent State University. While there she came to faith in Christ and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
